An early walk on the last day – Canterbury Hills' deer population is quite tame and really goes for the late summer crab apples

The morning workshop on leadership helped us to reflect on and identify the key qualities that we respond to in an effective leader.

During the workshop, we watched (yes, and took notes!) Finding Nemo to discover where the characters unleashed potential in one another (and thus, offered leadership) by making their gifts available, and where potential was inhibited when they acted our of fear, anger or self-doubt.
Kaitlyn from BC, Aly from Alberta and Shawna from Alberta show off the t-shirts the group made, to demonstrate how our worldview over the last 10 days went from small….

…to WIDE. Ka BAM! We all now see with wider eyes and open hearts.

At the talent night, the Media group sang a parody song, accompanied by Mac on his violin

At the talent show, special mementos were given out to Leadership Team to celebrate their gifts in the community L to R Rushan Sinnaduray, Cynthia Dawe, Heather Parsons, Val Kerr, Judy Steers, Bill Mous, Jenn Andreas and Jess Worden.

Masithi Amen! (336 in Common Praise) became one of the group theme songs. After the slide show of the whole 10 days, the group burst into spontaneous song and dance as the final slide popped up: “Masithi, Amen, until we meet again”

Closing Eucharist on Saturday morning. Bill and Ashley assist Val at the altar in the St Francis chapel at Canterbury Hills.

Here we are! The Ask & Imagine High School Program, August 2005. Twenty-one participants and eight staff from 9 provinces, 11 dioceses. See you at the Pilgrimage in the years to come!

Ka BAM! Celebrating 10 days together in an awesome learning community
Off home again…
