Gallery - Day 4, August 19

In the beginning….

…there was Biblical Studies. And it was good.

Mac checks something in his Bible while Connie (L) and Shawn (R) listen to Martha.

Connie, Beckie and Cynthia work together on a song as
part of their music exploratory group.

Gill, Jess and Andrea compose their song on the piano in the Great Hall.

Tara from B.C. strums out a melody as Laura-Lee from Newfoundland listens.

Martha leads the Media Awareness exploratory group.

The Science and Theology exploratory group tackled stories of creation in their session today. The blackboard depicts one of the two creation stories found in the Book of Genesis.

What do 3 Garbage Bags, Soap, Wet Grass, 1 Hill, and 3 Ingenious Nova Scotians equal?

Hilarium!! Don't blink, Brittany, Pete and Gill soar down the hill!

Whoops! Pete, you really need to fix that steering wheel of yours!

In our afternoon workshops, Susan shared with the group the some of the finer points of Theological Reflection.

Susan holds the parts of a theological reflection… an event/experience, the heart of the matter, meaning, insights and action.

Cynthia, one of the resident advisors, takes an afternoon nap in her room.

Our worship today was held outdoors on a hill overlooking Huron University College .

Heather and Mac share a song book during evening worship.

Kaila from Winnipeg reads part of Psalm 104 to the group.

We found you Bill! Nothing beats a good ‘ol game of sardines in the residence!

The group gathers in the lounge for a bedtime story, In God's Nature, read by Judy.

Bill attempts to stop the walls from closing in…

…while Hilary makes sure that the floor and ceiling don't collapse! And you thought this kind of thing only happened in Star Wars!?!

This is Sarah's journal in pictures for Friday August 19th.
